Founded by French general contractor Gerard Dahan in 1987, Norcal Construction prides itself on quality work on a strict timeline.

Gerard Dahan first discovered construction in Paris, France where he grew up. As he began working on different classic “Haussmann buildings", he developed a knack for creating. In 1978 he moved to Berkeley, CA to work in insurance and a few years later, decided to start his own company. In 1987 Gerard founded Norcal Construction, (doing business as Norcal 2002, Inc.) and over the years, has grown a team of skilled individuals who share his attention to detail. He prides himself on developing long term relationships with his clients and positions himself as a trusted advisor because he values his customer’s opinions.
